Counting time of parent and child tasks

Hi,
started to use the very nice Scrum plugin today. I've got a small problem with counting the time for tasks and their subtasks.
Both tasks and subtasks are assigned to a sprint. Task A has subtasks b and c. For starters I assigned both b and c 1 hour. I can see in the sprint burndown that tasks A, b and c are all counted giving a total of 4 hours and not 2. Is this a bug or a feature? Should I only assign task A to the sprint and leave out b and c?
