You have this error because the column name "start_date" are the same in redmine and scrum plugin.

You need to edit the file: calendars_controller.rb
In my case this is located on: \Bitnami\redmine\apps\redmine\htdocs\app\controllers

Just find the line:

events += @query.issues(:include => [:tracker, :assigned_to, :priority],
:conditions => ["((start_date BETWEEN ? AND ?) OR (due_date BETWEEN ? AND ?))", @calendar.startdt, @calendar.enddt, @calendar.startdt, @calendar.enddt]
)
events += @query.versions(:conditions => ["effective_date BETWEEN ? AND ?", @calendar.startdt, @calendar.enddt])

And change to:

events += @query.issues(:include => [:tracker, :assigned_to, :priority],
:conditions => ["((issues.start_date BETWEEN ? AND ?) OR (due_date BETWEEN ? AND ?))", @calendar.startdt, @calendar.enddt, @calendar.startdt, @calendar.enddt]
)
events += @query.versions(:conditions => ["effective_date BETWEEN ? AND ?", @calendar.startdt, @calendar.enddt])

Save the file, Restart the Redmine.
