Parent issue required?

Hi,

Am I understanding it right that, for an issue to move over the board, I need to add a subtask to that particular issue? Doesn't make sense to me. All my issues are already user stories and should move over the board depending on their status. Am I missing something?

This plugin works like this:
  • Product Backlog contains PBIs(Product Backlog Items).
  • A PBI contains tasks (so a PBI issue is parent of all its child task issues).
  • PBIs are on the left column in Sprint board, tasks are on the rest of columns (one per task status).
  • Tasks can be moved in the Sprint board to update their status (no the PBIs).

As I said, this is how the plugin works, this does not mean that it has to match 100% with your workflow.
